The bars
The barbell is one-piece solid steel with a chrome finish, which means there is no join to develop play over time. The two dumbbell bars are 14″ chrome spinlock, sized for comfortable single-hand work.
Heavy-duty threads and six spinlock collars give a safe, secure fit for the plates. Collars are what fail on cheap sets, so this is the specification worth checking.
Plates designed for lifting
The weight plates have a radius edge, which makes them far easier to pick up off the floor. Anyone who has tried to lift a flat-edged plate off tile understands why that detail exists.
Cast iron is also dense, so the plates stay compact for their weight and the loaded bar does not become unwieldy.

A programme to run on it

Yes. The barbell and the two dumbbell bars are separate items, and the plates move between them.
Is 50 kg enough?
For squats and deadlifts you will outgrow it eventually. For pressing, rowing and every dumbbell exercise, it lasts most people years.
How many collars are included?
Six chrome spinlock collars — two for the barbell and four for the dumbbells.
Can I add more plates later?
Yes, provided they are standard spinlock plates that fit the bars.
