How chrome spinlock dumbbell bars work
Each bar has a threaded end. Slide plates on, screw a spinlock collar down tight against them, and you have the weight you want. Ten seconds later you can have a different one.

Grip and construction

Do chrome spinlock dumbbell bars fit Olympic plates?
No. These take standard 1-inch plates. Olympic plates have a 2-inch hole and need a different bar.

Not if you tighten them properly against the plates. Check them each time you change weight.
How much weight can I load?
Load evenly on both ends and keep the plates within the threaded section so the collars still bite.
