The 4.0HP AC motor
An AC motor rated at 4.0HP continuous and 8.0HP peak, controlled by a MagnaDrive motor controller. AC motors are what commercial treadmills use, because they hold pace under constant load in a way DC motors cannot.
Speed runs from 0.5 to 20 kmph, and incline elevates from 0 to 15 percent. The 0.5 kmph bottom end matters more than it sounds — it makes the machine usable for rehabilitation as well as running.
DX3 belt and deck with Flexdeck
