30KG Dumbbell Set with Connector & Carrier Case

A 30kg dumbbell set with connector is the most useful first purchase in home strength training. Two dumbbells for pressing and curling, one barbell for rows and deadlifts, and everything packs into its own case.

Dumbbells or barbell, in seconds

A 30 cm steel connecting tube joins the two short bars into one 99.5 cm barbell. Unscrew the collars, slide the tube in, screw them back — the change takes under a minute.

As a result the set covers two categories of exercise. Dumbbells for presses, curls, flyes and single-arm rows; barbell for deadlifts, bent-over rows, squats and overhead press.

What is in the set

• 8 x 2.5 kg chrome plates
• 4 x 1.25 kg chrome plates
• 4 x 0.5 kg chrome plates
• 2 x 38 cm chrome spinlock bars with rubber grips
• 4 x spinlock collars
• 1 x 30 cm steel connector
• Carrier case

Total weight including bars and collars is 30 kg. That covers both hands, so you are working with 15 kg per side as dumbbells.

Fine increments matter

The mix of 2.5 kg, 1.25 kg and 0.5 kg plates lets you make small jumps. Adding 1 kg to a curl is a sensible progression; adding 5 kg is not, and that is exactly why sets with only large plates stall people.

Spinlock collars screw down tight against the plates, so nothing shifts mid-set, and weight changes take seconds.

Common questions

Can the 30kg dumbbell set with connector become a barbell?

Yes. The 30 cm steel connector joins both bars into a single 99.5 cm barbell.

Is 30 kg enough to start?

Split across two hands it is 15 kg per side, which is plenty for curls, presses and rows when you are starting. As a barbell it is a sensible first deadlift and squat load.

Can I add more plates later?

Yes, provided they are standard 1″ plates that fit the spinlock bars.

Does it come with a case?

Yes, a carrier case is included.
