What makes this foldable camping chair worth carrying
It weighs 2 kg and packs into a carry bag with a shoulder strap, so getting it from the car to wherever you are sitting is not a job. Assembly is a pop-up: open it and sit down.
Because the frame is heavy steel rather than aluminium tube, it supports up to 225 lbs — about 100 kg — without flexing. Cheap chairs fail at the joints, and steel is what stops that.
The fabric
The body is 600D Oxford polyester, and it is water and stain resistant. That matters at a rally or a picnic more than anywhere: spilled drinks wipe off, and damp grass does not soak through.
The seat itself is smooth cloth rather than rough webbing, so it stays comfortable across an afternoon rather than twenty minutes.
The armrest and cup holder
